Do you even know what these programs do?


They bid with fractions of a second left, making it impossible for others to see your bid prior to when the auction is over.

They can't really beat out a high proxy bid, but they can serve to keep bidding lower / help eliminate bidding wars which you do have with proxy bidding.

Yes, same as always, highest bid or earliest bid in case of a tie.

I win auctions by putting in my highest proxy bid within the last 30secs of an auction. I don't see how sniping would affect me either way. I don't know how someone would lose to sniping programs if they wanted to win it with a bid they would pay anyway.
