What would you guys do? i don't do paypal. what about the other escrow services (like bidpay or iescrow?)

i herd bad sellers from indonesia.... try check out auctions for world phones. like the 8890 and t68. The seller always says no bidders from indoesia.. Might be a reason why. Whats the reason why, i have no idea...

I had a National Instruments card that someone from Korea wanted. Even though they seemed fairly legit (as buyers of these cards often are), because they didn't want to pay up front, I wasn't about to authorize to ship it overseas. If you get your money first, by all means.

Yeah, tell us how you're going to accept a CC through email. I know some businesses do it (send half the number in one email, half the number in another email), but you can't accept CC's anyways, or can you?

Get a money order.

I would have said tradenable (iescrow) but now that they are gone, I don't know. I have used escrow.com in the past and they've given me good service, however, I don't know enough about them to reccomend them.

I've had transactions as both seller and buyer with many people from other countries and it just like any other transaction. Just make sure you insure and track the package and both parties have an understanding of what the shipping time is going to be, you should be all right.

Never anything of the kind of value of your laptop. Possibly a video game, but nothing too expensive. You have to ask yourself if it's worth the risk to lose this kind of money.

Man, I GOT THE EXACT SAME EMAIL BUT ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE!!! I would NOT ship to Indonesia at all. The only countries I ship to is USA, Canada and countries in Western Europe. That's it, I don't even ship to my own home country (Czech Republic) because the risk of being scammed is too high. Don't do it, not worth it, you'd have to insure it, track it and the cost would probably be very high, at least $50 or so and if you do get scammed and Paypal will take the money out of your account, you'll regret it.
