Unless they impliment some lame-ass proprietary system that will only accept "XBox-approved" HDDs I'll just use one of the extra ones I have lying around, thanks.

yeah, somehow a $400 console, 3 games and an extra controller doesn't quite add up to $700.

Sadly, though, they'll sell out in a few days and the bundles will be selling like hotcakes on ebay for $1000.

I might just have to invest. 😉

the core is $300 and the HD is $100. mine as well get the premium package for $400.

and it doesnt use any old 3.5 HDD. it uses some removable 2.5" HDD that you can slide in and out of the xbox360 like a memory card.

Works for me, since I'm going to wait for a mod chip to buy an XBox 360 anyway.

Now that I'm on the topic, I really need to get around to modding my PS2.
