I think she's going to slice it up all nice and thin - then, place it on skewers and add some BBQ sauce. I can taste it already.

Back in the 80's in the city I lived in in Florida, there was a popular Chinese restaurant that was closed down because health inspectors discovered rat and dog meat in the freezers. They tried to claim that it was for their own family and not for serving in the restaurant. But who really knows! Eventually the place reopened under new ownership.

I find it funny they have to use thay big old hammer to stun the rat BEFORE it's killed.

and I'm sure it's every bit as sanitary as an American slaughterhouse too. Take whatever meaning you like from that.

Keep in mind, these are field rats. They eat hay, wheat, rice, etc. Cleaner than sewer rats we're used to. I've never tried it, but I hear its supposed to taste pretty good.

Also, consider Australians, they eat Kangaroos, a much bigger rodent wouldn't you say?
