So I was looking at my dog's food, I wondered how it would taste, it's the pedigree wet food stuff. I didn't try it, I'm sure it's safe to, but it probobly tastes terrible. Has anyone here tried there dog's food?

I'm a senior on a fixed income and I ate it for months.

Had to stop because I began chasing cars.

I had the luxury of working as temp at Kal-Kan when I was younger. I'd have to say that was the CLEANEST food service facility I have ever seen. That place was cleaner than most restaraunts you frequent, guaranteed. They were very serious about cleanliness and quality. Everything that went out thier door was safe for anyone to eat.

Who knows what's in that stuff?

grade D meat, dead, dying, decaying, and diseased.

dog food was invented during WWII (maybe WWI, but pretty sure it was II) because so much food was needed for the boys overseas that table scraps (which is what dogs had eaten for 1000s of years) just weren't around anymore. so, the companies took the stuff that otherwise would have been thrown out, ground it up, dehydrated it, and made little kibbles out of it.

If you don't mind eating pus, cancer, rectum, and moldy grain, sure go ahead.

Oh stop complaining. It gives the food character. :p

Ryan Stiles ate dog food on at least one recording of Whose Line Is It Anyway.

I wonder how would people know what taste good to a dog. I mean a dog would sniff and munch on another dog's poo.

I have an iron stomach and I'm not very squeamish, but I don't eat dog food. I mean, I've eaten dried caterpillars, ants, guinea pigs, and even hot dogs, but I won't touch pet food. Not unless I had a good bet riding on it, anyway.

Not to mention companion animals and animal digest.
