yes

Have you really?

yeah, its really not that big of a deal. most insects are more healthy then all the fast food people eat. any basic survival class will cover this topic.

What kind of bugs have you ate and why ? Just to eat them or try them?

grasshoppers and ants - cooked
moths and worms (not really an insect) - raw

you could eat a chocolate covered insect and have no idea what it was. the grasshoppers chocolate chip cookies were really good, extra crunchy.

Wow. Were you scared to eat them your first time or did you not want to take them down the first time or what?

Why did you try them by the way?

it never seemed to be a big deal (not that i eat insects on a regular basis). I have eaten them purchased from a store (chocolate covered), my sister made cookies with them a few times and i think the first time was in a survival course. i gave some cookies to co-workers and told them they were grasshopper cookies. they ate them thinking it had something to do with the brand name i guess. their reactions after they realized what they had eaten were priceless.

I always wondered if we can eat bugs then why can't we eat grass like cows sense birds and stuff eat bugs as well.

8th graders at my school sell chocolate covered ants, grasshopper suckers, ant suckers, etc. as a fundraiser every year.

The teacher makes them try various "exotic" foods such as insects as part of their regular classwork.

So, of course, I've tried various concoctions with insects in them. Not bad.

Have you ever ate bugs just to see what they taste like? We all know how other countries eat bugs pretty often around the world. Not saying everywhere just some places.

name three!

how about a lot more than three

Dude, that site is bogus. I am an Indian and I can assure you that, nowhere in India, is drinking a paste of green ants considered a condiment.
Yea that site is completely whack. Too much Indiana Jones.

In Indo-China (Vietnam, Thailand etc.) eating bugs is very common but not in India. I think the author just generalized or made it up on the spot.

While working with termites I would often be covered with several thousand of them. I'm sure at one point or another I swallowed a couple accidentally--never on purpose though.
