Eating at local Mexican resteraunt. Woman does something unusual.

Well she has this sack down in her purse and takes her chips and slowly sneaks them into the bag in her purse. I know it is not stealing, but why would she hide them. They give chips and salsa free as soon as you sit down?

Strange and we laughed, but the more I thought about it, I was like that is sad. Maybe she couldn't help herself and wanted to keep eating on the road. Maybe she didn't have food for the kids? Who knows.

They'd probably sell her a bag for cheap, if she just asked. Damn, I hate cheap people. If she was trying to get food for the kids, why would she eat at a restaurant and pay the tip and all that goes along with it?

Final verdict: Cheap eater wants free food. Cheap eater should be kicked out of the restaurant.

My good friend and former highschool english teacher told me about his first date with his wife. They were both fairly poor and in college. He took her to a Pizza buffett. He noticed after awhile that she was putting pizza in her purse. Turns out, she lined her purse with aluminum foil before hand and was grabbing as much pizza as she could. She didn't have much money and it was going to save her from eating Ramin noodles the next couple of days.

Mexican restaurants usually do have pretty good tortilla chips, but I'd chalk her behavior up to being a cheap-ass. 😛

thats like stealing ketchup packets from mcdonalds. just doesnt compute. you dont have to steal them...they come free with the meal!!

i always ask for a to-go box and a extra thing of chips before the meal is over...
same thing at olive garden and breadsitx...
and red lostber and there cheese biscuits...
and everywhere and little cracker packets and sweet&low and if I'm running low salt and pepper shakers (the plastic ones not the full feldged fancy restaurant ones) 😛

My Grandma had a duck pond and a few dogs, so anytime she went out to eat (especially buffets) she would make sure to have the big purse and ziplock bags. I always got a kick out of watching her attempt to deftly secure her pilfered loaves of bread and chicken legs. She got such a thrill out of doing something 'immoral'. It's like downloading mp3's for old people or something.

Yeah, weird, they will let you take chips, and even give you a box for them.

Maybe she was too embarassed to ask for a box?

For the love of GOD please learn how to use a question mark properly.

The two question marks you used are entirely wrong.
