Maybe if you're olds 😉The CDC said the median age of those sickened is 78 and that one in five who contract the disease can die.
Worst outbreak in 10 years. Ten whole years eh? That's some major hysterical record there.
All melons? :sneaky:Doesn't matter, I'm allergic to ragweed, so I don't eat Cantaloupes. Makes my mouth itchy as fuck. Pretty much all melons to this to me, and occasionally Bananas.
Colorado health officials said Friday that DNA test results confirm Jensen Farms cantaloupe is the source of the listeria outbreak that has sickened 22 people.

Eh, with no more natural predators we need something that'll kill off the sick and the weak.
were you speaking in metaphor?
Cross reactions
Allergies to a certain pollen are associated with OAS reactions to certain foods. For instance, an allergy to ragweed is associated with OAS reactions to banana, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, zucchini, and cucumber. This does not mean that all sufferers of an allergy to ragweed will experience adverse effects from all or even any of these foods. Reactions may begin with one type of food and with reactions to others developing later. However, reaction to one or more foods in any given category does not necessarily mean a person is allergic to all foods in that group.

Mugwort pollen : carrots, celery, coriander, fennel, parsley, peppers, sunflower

Possible cross-reactions (to any of the above): berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc), citrus (oranges, lemons, etc), grapes, mango, figs, peanut, pineapple, pomegranates, watermelon
it only kills you if you already genetically inferior and suck at living.
I think the answer to this is to reduce FDA regulations and inspecting...let the free market and huge multi-national corporations figure it out. I'm sure they have our best interests at heart.

More media sensationalism. Hundreds of thousands die every year from the flu. 14 deaths is hardly a scratch on the surface.
