Easynews Replacement?

I've been an Easynews member since around 2003, and have been pretty happy up until recently. For the first time in a long time I actually ran out of the gigs I had accumulated way back when they were giving credits for running United Devices app. Long story short, I see lots of other providers now offering Unlimited gb/month plans, some with 24 max connections - but are there any out there with anything even comparable with Easy's Global Search?

I admit I've been spoiled over the last few years, and while the thought of using an actual newsreader again isn't appalling, I would hate to give up the speed of that search.

Anyone know of any other services that have a decent web-based search function like Easynews? Thanks for any help 🙂

That said, I find giganews + binsearch an adequate replacement in searching for linux distros. Their retention on comp.os.linux.hardware is phenomenal. Around 2 years.
