easy question - special EIDE ribbons needed for ata/100, or the same as ata/66?

Building a new system and learning lots as I go; Is it necessary to get IDE ribbons that are specifically for ATA/100, if I'm going to use those two IDE ports on my ASUS mb, or will the ATA/66 cables work fine/are the same thing? heh, such a newbie😱
 
the fastest IDE drives out right now can barely sustain transfer rates above 40mb/sec so you should be just fine with ATA/66 cables for now
 
mmm... should have remembered to ask this in the original post: any good tech sites for ordering such components at decent costs? b&m stores i think are crazy pricey for silly cables, or am i wrong?

You can get this 24" ATA/66 Cable from Buy.com, for $10.89.
You know, yadda yadda yadda discounts, and ebates, and get it cheaper.

BTW, Buy going with an ATA/100 controler card, will it increase the performance of your ATA/33 & 66 drives (with the 80 wire cable), AT ALL? Has anyone seen reviews on this subject?
