Easy PSU question

Hey guys, so I think my PSU (3yr old OCZ 520w psu) is screwed. I took one of my friends' PSUs (Thermaltake Powerstream 480W Butterfly) and decided to replace it. Now I half-disassembled everything and just remembered something.

I have a 7800GTX and i there is a cable from my PSU plugged into it. I do not see a cable like it on this older powersupply. Can anyone tell me if my card will still work without the cable or am I wasting my time? Can you also tell me the name of that cable please?
