Easy PSU connector question

...I think. I have a fairly old PSU and it doesn't have enough connectors for my use. It's loud as hell, which may result in a repurchase as soon as $100 comes rollin my way, but until then...

I have 4 4-pin connectors (I think that's what they're called) and two are being used by my burner and cd-drive, and two are being used by my two hds. Is there some sort of splitter that I can get so I can finally hook up my case fans and a new bay cooler?

Thanks!

Also, quick cooling question...is there a way that I can reverse the bay cooler so it becomes a front exhaust fan rather than an intake? It's probably got the most direct route for air circulation to my cpu and I'm about to overclock that puppy to 2.2 ghz (it's the 1700+ tbred on an nforce2 MB).

u can buy a Y cable (not sure if thats what it is called) for prolly around 2 buk and that will fix your power connector problem

You can use the splitters which usually cost like $1.99 ea, but if you power supply is not too good it may cause you problems, due to voltage not being stable enough. Those problems are usually only with Athlon systems, but it may pass also with P4 systems.

I always reccomend Antec True-power supplies, because they are top quality, affordable, and uses a separate individual output circuitry instead of sharing a single output to the +5v and +3.3v like a regular power supply. The Antec True-power 380w is more than enough in most cases. I do not reccomend an Antec True-power 330w for an Athlon based system, unless your motherboard has the P4 connector.
