Easy Mac is NOT EASY!

Ranting about Easy Mac..... wow, I'm retarded.

The stupid instructions tell you to put the noodles/water in the microwave on high for 3 1/2 - 4 minutes. 90 seconds into the cooking it turns into a boiling, bubbling tower of water and overflows if you use a regular size bowl. If you use a huge bowl, it will bubble and eventually all of the water will evaporate well before the microwave is finished. Preventing this overflow requires one to stop the microwave after every 10 seconds of cooking for the final 90 seconds or so. Basically the bubbles come up, you stop the cooking, they go down, restart again, they go up, stop, wait, go again, stop, wait, etc. This has been the case on every microwave I have ever tried.

THIS SHOULD NOT BE DIFFICULT!!!

I call bullisht on the Easy part of this product.

Link to instructions.... The stupid cartoon food characters try to make it look sooooo easy!

It is actually pretty easy. I quit making Easy Mac as it is kind of gross and it takes a whole box of the stuff to amount to anything substantial.

If everyone in the world followed specific instructions that loosely we would probably all be dead by now.

You aren't the only one to have been fooled by the name.
Kraft marketing execs only settled on Easy Mac after deciding that Promiscuous Mac was too hard to say, and Slutbag Mac was too vulgar.

You did know that Microwaves vary widely in their power, right? Some can boil a cup of water in 10 seconds, others take 2 minutes. Use a lower setting.

If you were patient and/or confident enough in the instructions to LET The water bubble like it does, you'd realize that boiling all the water away actually cooks the macaroni. Trust Kraft - they know what they're doing when it comes to instant food prep.
