This is easy and should not take much time

I have a small executible that installs short cuts to make a registry change that allows some software that I work with to run without the hardware that it is associated with.

Now to allow thkis simulation to run you have to make a small registry change. Which the executible installs shortcuts to to. However when you run the registry command many anti-spyware programs come up and ask if you would like to make the change.

I need the screen shot from as many anti-spywhere/ anti-virus programs As I can find as I will be doing a presentaion in two weeks to my distributors.

So if you could load the EXE and then there will be a new program group call affinity simulation with two shortcuts to the registry add.

Thanks and If anyone has anyquestions please feel free to PM or email me.

Screen shots can be emailed to interacoustics@gmail.com

The executible can be downloaded Here

CLIFF NOTES

1. download and install the Exe above.
2. Run the reg entry [program that is installed
3 take a screen shot of you AV/ASW program asking if you would like to make the change to the registry
4. email that picture to interacoustics@gmail.com

why not have the .exe make the registry changes

We need to be able to turn on and off the simulation mode (through the registry entry) and I don't know how to do that 🙂

I was just happy to build the installer.

People may be clicking back on forth on this registry entry so that is why we have it. The software has problems if you conect the equiptment while in "simulation Mode"

I downloaded a simple library that i was able to use to read and write to the registry in my progams... its not too difficult to use.

create a thread in the software forum where we can use the attach code feature, and ill copy it for you.

I don't quite understand this😱

I can show you how to actually use the registry (create, delete, read, write) in a program that you're writing.
