My friend invited me to a dinner party and said to bring some sort of finger food that can serve 15 and a bottle of wine. I can handle the wine. I am not sure what is a quick and easy finger food to get or make.

Some things I have been considering are getting some sort of bread sticks or cheese sticks at a local pizza place or perhaps get some sort of frozen food in the grocery store section like pizza bagels.

Buy some pita bread, split it, cut it into triangles, brush with butter or margarine, top with spices (garlic powder, cayenne & seasoning salt), put into an oven at 375 until browned. Serve with Hummous. Best. Appetizer. Ever. :) Only takes a few minutes to make & bake too! Everyone will love 'em!

get those pillsbury poppin fresh croissants in a can, some hebrew international hot dogs, and some cheese.
cut the croissants into small triangles, cut hot dogs into finger length, slit in the middle, stuff it with cheese, fold it with the small croissant piece to make pig in the blanket, baked until done. delicious.

get some slices of ham and smear some cream cheese on it like you're making a burrito. Then season with garlic, oregeno, basil, parsley, pepper (i use habanero), and a little honey. roll it up. i guess you could cut them up and put toothpicks in them or whatnot.

I jokingly said that to her. It went over her head unfortunately.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am going to head to the grocery in just a bit and I will try to find the ingredients for one of them and make it soon. I am leaning towards Patt's. I think another of my friends mentioned she was going to make Pepsei's suggestion.

Put tortilla chips on a cookie sheet, cover with chedder/jack cheese, melt, have jalapeno pepper slices, sour cream, guacamole, refried beans, etc. on side when serving.

with wine.... good crusty bread and high quality cheese

Organic corn tortilla chips and a high-quality container of salsa (more like pico de gallo).

Fresh jalapeños or serranos, cream cheese, and bacon (thinner bacon is better).

Slice the peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membrane. Put a spoonful of cream cheese into each pepper, enough to mound. Wrap each pepper half in bacon, stick a toothpick through it to keep it all together, and bake at 400° F until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is browning.

Serve onto a platter and enjoy.

imo the fastest thing you can do is get some cheese, crackers and pepperoni. cut up the cheese and pepperoni into slices and place in the middle of a plate surrounded by the crackers.

EDIT: actually chips and guacamole is probably faster.

Word. If you're truly lazy, get some AvoClassic guacamole and spoon it into a bowl. Seriously delicious guacamole.
