It'd been a few years since he's been on TV, and I didn't realize how great he is till I saw him on Raw. The dude is a great character.

Whatever. He ruined WCW. I give him no credit. Never thought he was that great on the mike, either.

He may have caused the end of WCW (though I think that's debatable, I think there are a few other people that could take a share of the blame for that), but he did (as he's mentioned a few times) make WCW Nitro beat Raw in the rating for over a year and a half straight.

For a good long time WCW was far better than WWF. At the end it sucked, but he did a great job for a good portion of it.

Hopefully he can bring some of the earlier success of WCW to Raw. I think he's got a lot of talent in the creative department. The last few weeks I've been pretty happy with WWE, but the last year or so has gotten pretty stale.

They could use the new blood to shake things up. Vince is still in charge, so if Eric goes the way of the end of WCW, then Vince will give him the boot I'm sure. But for now, I'm hoping that Easy E can bring some of the earlier success of WCW into the "Raw brand."

he ruined WCW? LOL what was WCW before he came there? It started going downhill at the end of his reign, but Russo, Ed Ferrara, Kevin Sullivan, and the nitwits at AOLTW.

Eric Bischoff played a pretty big role in WCW before the Russo era, at least way back to 1995.

He began to play a big role in the storyline since he joined the nWo and screwed things up to WCW wrestlers. That was brillant, although, as I often criticize the nWo storyline, it was taken way too far and got pretty old quickly.

Nitro used to rock all over Raw. In fact, WCW was so much better than WWF back then that it took me a while to recognize that WWF/WWE got better over the years and I began to enjoy and watch it.

So he stole the rappers name, eh?

I think he should have come up with one on his own.

eric bischoff made WCW into wrestling's biggest show. then everyone at time warner saw how much money it made and wanted a piece of it. so bischoff was no longer in sole control and it started to go downhill. then he burnt out. and it really started to crap out then.

but i have no doubts... wrestling's resurgence in the mid to late 90s is almost entirely his credit.

ah crap they brought back that nWo wanna-be degneration x crap.

i wonder if they're going to push that stupid frickin' xpac again. i can't believe that maggot won the heavyweight title... his signature move doesn't even come anywhere close to looking like it might be painful for the other guy. instead it looks like hes trying to get a bj.

Does anyone know what's going on with the nWo?

I know Vince shut them down....but since when does the nWo ever do what they are told?

I guess with Hall gone and Nash down...there's not much left to form the nWo core...so are they totally gone?

It was meaningless. I think that they tried to do something with Stone Cold and never really built up any interesting storyline. So they just trashed it for good, methinks.

yeah...I suppose that's a good possiblity. Austin walked. Hall got the pink slip. Nash...I think he did the same to his leg triple H did didn't he? He'll be on the shelf for a while.

They need some kind of core opposition though. To many pointless little small "storylines" no one cares about it why the WWF started getting stale. At least they've got the Cruiserweights on Smackdown...
