Easy CD Creator Sucks!!

Since I found CDRWIN, no more Roxio crap. It used to use like 80% cpu to burn at 24x, now cdrwin does it with like 10-15%, great program!

I prefer Nero 5.5 over all of em. But yes, Easy CD is horrible.

Yep, all my burning is done using Nero and Fireburner.

i tried cdrwin... but it only allows 1x (or 2x) burning for evaluation....

I couldn't get Nero to recognize my plextor 24x, so i went with cdrwin

And to get back on topic, yes I think Nero beats out any other burning software.

Yeah, I agree.
I always use NERO, CDRWin or Fireburner.
But I just upgrade to WinXP and my CDRWin didn't detect my Plextor CD writer.
What should I do?
I already use CDRWin 4.0.

Well, I tried to get Nero to work on my 2k system, and I tried doing some ASPI update, but that didnt' help, so that's why I went with cdrwin.

another nero 5.5 user here.. burns wma formats too.. which really helps cuz i use winxp to copy my cds to wma's

I like easy CD Creator......I don't know why, but Nero can't recognize my burner/dvd

NEC 12X DVD-ROM

I use nero 5.5 for almost all my burning. The only exception is bin/cue files which is when I use CDRWIN.

BTW this is with a Plextor 12/10/32 scsi cdrw drive.

buh.. with that drive you could use adobe photoshop to burn cd's and theyd come out decent

Yeah, EZCD is slow among other problems...
nero 5.5 is a little too much of a gui/options kludge...
cdrwin is a little cheesy, but works good (eh, making an audio cd with it isn't very friendly)...

Really, I don't know any *great* cdr software...
