As the "best" all around program, I would vote Nero :)

I guess I am a minority here. I use ECDC5 Platinum and have zero problems and never burn a coaster. I am curious what make Nero so much better? I have used both programs with equal success, so what puts Nero on top?

EZcd tons of bloatware/newbie wizards and shiny graphics and the like. Nero is all business like a great lover.
EZcd also wanted to take over my comp with all this crap in startup and stuff. Plus I've heard of alot of problems when you install ezcd and it conflicts with other programs.

Thanks Citadel535, nobody every gave me a reason for the dislike of the program. I have both programs just thougth ECD was easier to use. Perhaps I will give Nero another shot.

NERO all the way, and the burning rom is much better then nero express.

The only drawback is that with ECSC 5 you can control the order of the files you burn as to were on the disk they will be regardless of type or name it can also defragment the fils but nero does that as well. This is benefitial if you want to have some files on the end of the disk such that they read faster then the rest. If there is a way to do this in NERO please post it, making nero the no contest choice.
