get 3 nic cards, some cat5 and a cheap hub, 4port 10mb/s hub is bout 15 after shipping. As long as you dont plan on doing high speed connection sharing this should be more then fine for you.
If you plan on doing any kind of file copying (backup, etc) do yourself a favor and jump for the 100MBPS network. If nothing else, get 10/100 NICs and upgrade the hub to 100MBPS later.
To prevent headaches and bad connections get good quality NICs (I use all Netgear FA311 and FA310).
that's the cheapest and easiest way... if you want the best way... spend a few extra dollars and get a switch instead of a hub... you probably don't need the switch since it's only 3 computers, but as your network grows and as traffic increases that switch will be a better bet...
