I have to find some laptops that satisfy a long list of requirements. Figured I'd start at Dell, but while they have tons of models, I didn't see a way to easily enter the list of requirements and see which ones match. It's taking forever to look through specs of different models and compare them.

I'm not a laptop expert and I'm pretty sure there are no laptops that even meet every requirement. If that's true, I can go back and tell them that, but I have to be sure. I have to supply these to a customer so price isn't that important.

Here's the laundry list of specs:
Fastest available processor
30GB minimum disk
floppy drive
internal CD-RW
56k modem or PCMCIA fax modem
15" XGA screen with variable contrast control
2x AGP
3-D PCI or Altec Lansing audio
full-size keyboard with 101 keys and integrated dual-button touchpad
seven hour battery life
parallel port, serial port, 2-way infrared port, S-video, 2 USB ports, two type II or one type III PCMCIA slot
10/100 ethernet
no more than 7.5 pounds, no larger than 15x13x2 inches

Anyone know of sites where I can plug these in and see which models match up? Thanks in advance.

Some of your specs can't be found in a laptop...
As far as the floppy drive goes, those are pretty much not found in laptops anymore. you'll have to get an external one that connects via USB or something. Also, AGP is not found in laptops. laptops have special graphics chips that are different from desktop versions. I've tried to give you the best option tho.

Ok, if you want a Dell for this, Get a Dell Inspiron 6000 and configure as below
Intel Pentium M 770
1 GB RAM 1 or 2 DIMMS
ATI Radeon X300 128mb
Extended life battery
the rest you can pick by yourself

and for the floppy drive you can get an external one on newegg for about 20 bucks
