EASIEST router to use, with wireless, PPPoE, and print server?

My sis wants a router with a couple of Ethernet ports, wireless support, and a print server. Has to support PPPoE.

What's the EASIEST one to use, and reliable? I would suppose that a browser based one would probably be the best.

I've been considering the DLink but I dunno much about what's on the market these days.

my SMC barricade wireless router does all that (except i'm not 100% sure about PPPoe)

might wanna check it out...super easy to use

Thanks. However, aren't the D-Link and SMC one basically the same? Their older routers were nearly identical, with the same innards.

Yes, all of the new routers, even some of the older routers support PPPoE. Most don't support PPPoA because the DSLAMs are so expensive for the telco.

Also, the SMC is not bad for wireless. The print server just plain sucks, as it is soooooo frickin' slow.

Eug, the D-Link 713P does all that you list. I have been using the older model 713 for over a year and it has been trouble free. My only complaint was interference with my Sony clock radio (they are in the same room). You also could have interference with any 2.4ghz phone systems. I doubt that D-Link is alone in these problems though.

Browser configuration is pretty standard now, but D-Link's is very easy to understand. I don't know your sister's tech level, but I'm sure the D-Link won't be incomprehensible. The DHCP service works great and allows setting a range of addresses. Coupled with the ability to block or allow specific ranges and ports, I can control access from any computer on my home LAN.
