i have a few hundred photos in psd (photoshop) format that i need to convert to flat jpg and then resize to a specific size.

i want to do this as an unattended batch operation, not one by one

what would be the best way for me to do this?

ok fine.. after all these years of using irfanview for the easy stuff and faststone not looking like much on the cover so not trying it, i'll go ahead and take it for spin..

There's also imagemagick -- pretty sure that can convert .psd. Just need to google for the command line terms that you need.
