Kind of glad we don't get earthquakes or tornadoes or hurricanes or any of that stuff here. Canadian shield FTW. I'll deal with the cold, at least my house and belongings are not in constant risk of being destroyed. :p

the California viewpoint: Canadian weather can be accurately described as a natural disaster that lasts 10 months out of the year.

Live on the EC, the 5.6 one a few years ago is the biggest I have ever been in. Below is a link to a cool little program that generates all sorts of datas includdling citizen science data.

(FYI, Soviet subs actually have a red star signature on sonar.)

I felt it a little here in Long Beach. It's weird, when they start of course I have no idea what they'll turn into. If I'm going to die as an earthquake-induced pancake, I want to be a fluffy one.
