EARTHQUAKE

Glad I'm in the Midwest. No Hurricanes or Earthquakes. Blizzards occasionally, but I like snow, so no big deal.

Still going on?

If the main shock is over and the ground is still moving then you're in quite a bad spot. I remember that happening during the '89 quake, and I wasn't even near the epicenter. The worst that happened in our area is that some crap fell off the walls. I can't imagine how the ground was shaking in places like the Embarcadero(sp?).

1.6 near Bridgeport and Lee Vining. Probably nothing. Or it could be that superpressurized magma pocket under Mono Lake acting up. 😛

Your padawan in Padmé,

nah not my first earthquake. If we can feel it here in central california, then that means either the coast has had a big one or socal has.
