When my g/f told me their building just shook, usgs had nothing... even on their "real time" earthquake thing. My brother quipped that their USGS "real time" is probably like FEMA's "rapid response"...

I'm probably 30 miles away and I felt nuttin'.Hmmm, I live just a few miles from Southfield and was blissfully unaware of any shakin' goin' on......
So in general would that cause damage to some houses, not many, lots, what? Stuff off bookshelves is no joke, that would be scary.I am about 30 miles southwest of the epicenter. Strongest I've felt here in Ottawa in the last ten years. Stuff fell off bookcases, etc

Felt it in Rochester, NY. Thought it was a person walking on roof (at work, second floor) beacuse they do sometimes. Then thought wow that person must be really heavy, then assumed it was from blasting somewhere 🙂
