Earthquake in Germantown-Gaithersburg MD

Yes yes, I know you Californians will laugh at us but we don't really get earthquakes. It was only 3.6.

I actually woke up and felt the vibrations, but it I wasn't quite sure what was going on. I remember thinking, "wtf is this, an earthquake?". I half thought it was a dream and went back to sleep, but the news tells me otherwise. I think this is the first time I've experienced an earthquake.

Felt it here in Frederick, the funny thing is, I knew exactly what it was, was like "cool" and then went right back to sleep. It is the first time I have ever felt one before, no earthquake is going to mess with my sleep

Felt it in Arlington, VA. I was looking out the window expecting a large truck to be driving by.

My wife is from CA - she got up, but didn't think it was a quake bc it was weak. She was worried the AC blower was dying or something.

Baltimore MD, felt/heard it here as well. For a second I was wondering if some a-hole had a really powerful subwoofer on his car.

haha I felt it out in VA but when I woke up after my alarm went off a little while later, I had forgotten all about it until I heard everyone freaking out about it on the radio. One woman was like "oh my goodness, my whole bed was just shaking! It was terrifying, and I am outside of my house right now because I am so freaked out."

lol

As a transplanted Californian I couldn't help but laugh over the furor cause by a 3.x quake.

Crazy stuff! If you can feel a 3.6, I would not be able to imagine what a 7+ would be like. 6's are normal in cali aren't they?

i was sound asleep in my apartment 9 floors up in rockville, didn't feel anything. neither did my wife.

probably cause our new bed is so fucking comfortable that we get very good nights sleep heh.
