Earth and jupiter..

That's a very cool image, and Earth looks much bigger than I would think, but I'm sure they have the lense to thank for that.

And yes Ichinisan, they are moons. As for the discrepancy in angle, Mars IIRC does not rotate along the "flat disc" of the solar system like most probably think, it orbits at an angle.

Wow. The second link shows how much further-away Jupiter was. Yet, it's still much bigger than Earth in that picture. Pretty cool.

Here's one of my recent favorite images in regards to our place in the solar system, neighborhood systems in our cluster, as well as our galaxy, and where it is located our galactic cluster. Very badass! Warning: it expands to huge proportions!

Wow, I never knew those moons were so far out from Jupiter. Shots like this make it look a lot closer.

Moon is 380,000 kilometers from Earth. Callisto is 1.9 million from Jupiter.

Very cool.

Realistic example of what we would see if sitting on Mars.

But still fake due to technical limitations of the equipment.

Judging by the lighting on earth, it seems the sun was to the right of the camera. Earth is half-lit, yet Jupiter is fully lit as if the sun was behind the camera?

Can anyone explain this?

Jupiter is big. Throws off your perspective...

Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, DominionSeraph. These are very small; those are far away...
