if the VA senate race is decided by less than 2,000 votes, I feel really bad for that independant canidate. lol.

If Webb loses, the Green Party strikes again...

Another lesson in this election is that if you are going to run a WRITE IN candidate for Tom Delay's seat in TX, SEKULA-GIBBS may not be the best named candidate to run. 😀

Connecticut 04
Shays (Incumbent) 72,347 52%
Farrell 64,446 47%

67% of precincts reporting
Every other CT race has reported 87% or higher...

What is taking this CT district so long? The result has been the same for over 2 hours now.

looks like McCaskill is declaring victory, for whatever that's worth 😛

The AP is likely to call the race soon. The nets will follow shortly.

Tester appears likely to win, but its not going to be called for a couple more hours.

Yeah, kinda weird since it hasn't been declared yet.
looks like Talent is declaring victory as well.
Well, he's down 30,000 with 88% reporting.

aaaaand CNN just declared it for McCaskill.

49:49 with dems slightly ahead in the two remaining races. feels a lot like waiting for the last flop on the river in a game of texas hold 'em.

Dems are leading in the other races - Virginia & Montana and the lead is gradually increasing, however Virginia could go into a recount.

Dems could still take the senate as well.

that's it. I'm going to bed, just assuming that the Dems are going to win the senate 😛 hopefully I get some good news when i wake up.

how are these results playing compared to the electoral-vote.com predictions?

I believe the final electoral-vote predicts were 51-49 in the senate, which could be exactly right. In the House, it was around 240 I think, which we're not sure about yet.
