Early Childhood developement school files......

I remember when I was in high school, in my councelor's office for some SAT thing, there was a file with my name on it. I opened it and skimmed through the things inside. They were all early child drawings, and test scores, and photos and stuff like that. When my councelor saw that I was looking through it, he snapped it out of my hands and put it away, saying that I couldn't look at it.

Well.... that was a few years ago.... and I really wanna know what was in that file.

Can I request it? Does the school own it? Do I own it? Do they throw them away after a person graduates?
 
They give that file to the college authorities. They now have the dirty on all the crappy things you did when you were little. Be scared.
 
I am mainly interested in my early test scores and stuff.... There were some documents indicating IQ and stuff like that. I was in the "gifted" classes.... It just always seemed like a conspiracy or something.... I dunno
 
Yeah that thing is guarded like the secret to Bush's Beans. (bad analogy, I know 😉 ) I've switched 5-6 schools, and the file always shows up, with pictures all the way back to kindergarten.
