Anyone have these or maybe another Earforce model? The game sound is great and I'm loving them in that regard but I played a lot of Gears 3 mp and battlefield3 mp this weekend and never heard anyone say anything.

I joined a party with my dad, I wasn't in a game, and he could hear me great. When I go into a game and click the chat/Im to see what channel I'm in, the game channel doesn't appear.

Anyone had any experience with this. Wondering if I should return them or if maybe there is another problem.

I did check all my settings and didn't see a problem.

could just be the game. try sending someone a message just to hear the replay. I know i wasn't hearing alot of people on GOW 3, but that was because they don't use their mics.

Yeah, I'm usually in a party chat with family/friends on GOW3. I have the x12's and can say they work great. Much, much better than the stock headset, which was total crap at picking up my voice when I talk quiet (so as not to wake up my wife in the next room).

Dunno about the game channel not showing up though since, like I said, I'm always party chatting anyway. I don't see how it would be any different vs any other headset that hook up into the controller though, so I doubt the problem is with the x12s.

I haven't heard anyone at all on the BF3 demo either.
