When my ear was plugged up a while back, I ended up buying H2O2 to get the clog out, the ear wax removal kit simply didn't get any response at all. 🙁

It actually 3 or 4 treatments and a week to get the clog out of my ear. It was very annoying.

did you dilute it before pooring into your ears?

that earwax kit contains 8% carbamide peroxide. That's the active ingredient in teeth whitening products. For example Colgate Simply White once a day gel is ~18% carbamide peroxide. I guess it would be just as easy to poor some hydrogen peroxide into your ears, as you did.

That would be a whole lot cheaper too because just the tiny little 15ml bottles of the ear solution are about $5. I'll try that next time but honestly, I don't think I'll need to do this again for a quite a while. Maybe I'll try again in couple months just to see what happens.

theres this candle thing that removes ear wax too i believe.

Art Bell was talking about it on his show about a year ago i think

I used to use Debrox, but that stuff takes too long... just use a metal prong with a small scoop at the end of it... much more satisfying to scoop $#!T out that way. Seriously. Safely doing that for years. 😀

I get so much wax in my ears, that stuff doesn't work. I need to go to the doctor every other year or so to have him blast it out with a high powered hot water gun!

I used to use a bobby/hair pin to get at that stuff. Worked pretty well. Depending on the make of bobby/hair pin, I would sometimes have to pinch the looped end with some needle nose pliers to make the "hook" part more narrow. A doctor actually recommended this method to me once.

man is it just the koreans i know (including me) that clean out our own ears with a think bamboo stick with a curved little end??

I'm not Korean, but i use a Bic pen cap to clean my ears out.

My mom had to go to the doctor once because she had something building up in there. She said it was like hearing a huge rush of water we everything went out and was a HUGE difference.

Linkage?
For your reading pleasure.

Thank God it's not something that only I suffer from :| :|

Dont bother with this, get the candle kit, we have to do my daughters ears with Dibromo to keep the clean of wax, she has tons of buildup.
Well someone told us to try out the candle/heat method...I would look in her ears after the rinse and think they were good to go...we did the canlde thing right after we did the rinse this time and I was shocked!

tons of stuff came out, chunks of it, amazing to say the least. She actually said she could hear better.

I'm Chinese and there's a gold metal one ... wouldn't you fear the bamboo would break in there ?
