EAPOL running?

My father keeps writing me about EAPOL running on his PC? I have read articles about it but thought I would ask what you guys thought. He is on mediacom highspeed with a nice pc behind a linksys firewall....no wireless.

Anyone know what this is and what it is most likely doing on his computer?

EAPOL is for 802.1x. Disable 802.1x in your NIC's config.
