A buddy of mine started lurking in ATOT about a month ago...not sure he's registered yet.........

Anyway....he just sent me an email asking if I knew anything about "that eakers chick" because she was "hot"

Way to go eakers....you've gained another willing man to do your bidding. 😉

Yeah....he's an imiginary friend I've know since 3rd grade...played baseball with for 11 years, went to the same college with, and was in his wedding(divorced now) 5 years ago.

Not sure he's seen her yet...plus he's not really into Asians.....he's always had a thing for the shortish, spunky, blonde type.

His ex wife fit that bill perfectly.....only problem was she was never really into the whole monogamy thing.

don't you remember all the guys thought she was hot because of the low-res, properly-lit webcam pics and then on Toronto ATOT meet, they were like "WTF? you're eakers!?!??"

Eakers has pooping problems and she freaks out at the smallest things. I like the way she spells "cheque" though, that's pretty hot. 😛

i didn?t get the car.

we went to the place and signed the papers, i gave her my cheque. we went out to the car and i noticed the face plate for the stereo isn?t on it.
i start to freak out.
i say something and they ask around and it turns out THERE IS NO face plate for the car.

at this point i am so stressed out by everything i start crying.

they are like "hey no problem, bring it back sometime next week, we?ll put a new cd player in it" but i dont want a cd player, i want the stereo that is in the car. (10 disk changer plus tape deck)

over and over they kept telling me not to worry, we can get a stereo or a face plate, just take the car home, i have 7 days or 200 km to decide. if i change my mind i can get my money back.

then i say "i don?t want a car without a stereo. i hate this car" and i become hysterical (my poor mother, was probabley so embarassed)

they make some calls "ok, we can put a cd player in it tonight". again im like "no, i dont want a cd player"

now this might not sound stressful but all of this happened over the course of an hour and there were people coming and going and calls being made and it was just way too much.

finally i decided i just needed to get out of there and think. i decided to just keep everything the way it was last night. we tore up everything i signed except the peliminary stuff and got back my cheque.

tomorrow im going back and getting my deposit (i know i can) and getting my stanza towed to my mechanic. for the next while until i find a car my mechanic is lending us one of his.

i hope tomorrow isn?t as bad as tonight was.

How old is your friend? I was under the impression that you (and presumably your friend are in your 30's. Isn't that a bit old to get excited about internet girls? 😕

I'm 33...he's the same age....just a few months younger. Yeah...that seems a bit old to be looking at girls on the Internet....then again he's still in that whole post divorce depression phase......eh....who knows?
