I'm not a fan, but I'm rooting for the Pats to destroy everyone this year and run up the score.
It's like in Rocky IV when Apollo Creed gets killed by Drago. Sucks for Apollo, but it's so awesome because Drago is so bad ass. You almost want him to kill Rocky too.

Alistar7, you and Perknose seem to be thinking that I'm discrediting the Eagle's performance tonight. I'm a Patriots fan (not bandwagon) and whenever my team wins or loses, I'm looking for mistakes that they make because I want them to improve.
The Eagles were obviously the reason for a lot of Patriots' (gr?) mistakes tonight, but I'm not looking for good Eagles' play, I'm looking for flaws in New England's game play because of the Eagles' good play. So yes, the dropped passes and defensive breakdowns were because the Eagles were playing well, but I see a New England team that seems to lose confidence when they are well matched. Obviously this isn't good, and it needs to be corrected before the playoffs when they won't have the fortune of playing teams with less the .500 records.

I don't see that at all. Look it at this way, backs against the wall the came out and took the lead, got the turnover when they needed it and used enough time to put the game away. I think they showed great resiliency as opposed to a loss of confidence.
Want an honest assesment of their possible weaknesses? Not balanced enough on offense right now. Even though their obvious strength is their passing game the playoffs are played (outdoors) in weather that favors a strong running game and defense. I think they can run effectively, and as the weather continues to be a factor you should see more emphasis on the running game and a more balanced approach.
Their defense is a bit slow on the edges, fast backs can turn the corner on them and get upfield. Their age and lack of declining speed is a concern as the season progresses. Their secondary has great coverage to the edges, but their protection in the middle is suspect. Teams with good tight ends will be able to exploit that as will slot WR and slant patterns. They do run zone blitzes, the greatest opportunity against that defense has always been for the TE.
Special teams probably a wash, at least statistically (other than KO returns) they are fairly average if not a tad under.
Injuries of course change things, but they have proven in the past they can compensate for those losses. The game is more about matchups than anything, and every team present different problems/opportunities. I don't expect a cakewalk for any team in the playoffs, it all depends on how well teams are playing at that point in time, not today.
I am sure the Pats have plenty of bandwagon fans, but they got on years ago. All teams enjoy a tremendous surge in fan base once they begin to play at a high level. I'm a Pitt fan and they have more bandwagon fans than most, they have just been riding for 30+ years. It did take the 70's to get that train rolling, and I suspect just as in their case you will see the "bandwagon" NE fans of today maintain that loyalty and support for a long time, even through the lean years. It has to start somewhere, and almost always it is on the upside.

Fair enough. I just don't want to see New England become overly cocky and complacent (as a lot of their fans are) and think they can get away with stuff like the Moss touchdowns in the Dolphins game at all times. If that happens, they won't be ready when they meat a match like the Colts and Eagles where they can't just score at will. On the other hand, these sorts of close games are good for them because it shows their mortality, something I hope they can learn from and improve.

I'm thinking of moving to Costa Rica and calling myself Raoul.

....what do I have to do with this game? I was actually rooting for the Eagles, as they're no longer a threat to win the division.
