more reason to make you go out and buy the same game again next year.

can anyone seriously tell me what changes are made between madden 2005 and 2006? other than maybe an occasional graphic update or players and teams, what the hell else do they have to change. seems like such a rip off to me.

2005 is good and 2006 isnt. There are a lot of changes, if you actually tried the game. :disgust:

Anyway, a good friend of mine is amazing at madden, but every year, his rank fluctuates because the game becomes different to play. In 2004, he was unstoppable with Vick and the flacons, and last year, he was dominant with the eagles, but not as much as with the falcons the previous year. And for 2006, he really fell off cause of that sh1tty new QB vision thing. THat sucks major ass.

And I used to destroy people in Rushing Attack before they brought that stupid truck stick and took away the playmaker control :(:(:(

how about instead of insulting me or trying to "pwn" me, you actually answer the question?
i don't like sports. why would i waste my money on the game? and it was a serious question. what changes between each year of the game?

how did I insult or 'pwn' you?

i pointed out the gameplay changes. And if you had just asked for me to elaborate instead of crying about it, I would have gladly done so.

Anyway, every year they try to make the game as close to the real thing as possible. As I said, in 2004 scrambling with the QB was very easy, so for 2005 they changed that to make it more balanced. They also added this thing called a hit stick where you could try to make monster tackles as the risk of missing. This is just some of the basic stuff. For 2006, they added this thing called QB vision which is a field of vision that depends on the rating of the quarter back. If the reciever is in your field of vision, the pass is more accurate. This doesnt work very well. They also added a truck stick, which is the offense equivalent of the hit stick.

Also, there are so many things you can do to micromanage your team and they keep adding new ones every year. The more basic ones are the audibles, changing routes, directing your players to block in certain directions. But there are more advanced controls, like having your corners press or play back, having your defensive line take different angles, call play fakes etc...

The rushing game still needs tweaking so that gets revised every year too. So what I'm saying is that its not entirely unreasonable to buy the game every year since there are enough changes in game play and rosters, atleast to me. And I play sports games with my friends a lot so I feel like its a worthy investment. The trash talking during sports games is second only to fighting games :p
