I was reading over on guru3d.com fourms. Someone mention that ea has dropped support for need for speed most wanted. Here what ea said according to what he person posted.

Final result - there will not be another patch for Most Wanted.

Longer version - While I'm sure very few of you are surprised by this, there was a good deal of internal debate surrounding this patch and whether to proceed. While there was never a question of whether there should be support for the community, the issues were a matter of time and resources. Both of which were not available.

The positive however, is that all the information collected on this issue won't be tossed aside and will be used for any future releases."

ea support dropped

Wow! This game seems so new still!! And odd considering how popular it is and that its generally well-received. But to me they totally ruined the series anyway so I never bothered with that after seeing how lame it was with the demo. They make annoying as hell decisions in their games and MW was just plain garbage to me.

Not much of a surprise though... EA strikes again. I really hate to buy anything published by them because of the TONS of shady things they've done, but they are so huge that some end up being EA (like BF2 and Special Forces).

Hmm, I'm not sure really what needs fixing though, NFS:MW for me from what I remember was pretty much problem free, didn't need patching.
But it's still stupid dropping support so quickly after release.

Uh, considering half my collection is EA and I've never seen this happen before, it is extremely surprising. So STFU hater.

actually, i was sort of dissapointed with nfsmw. i really did enjoy underground and underground 2...and hot pursuit 2 for the ps2 (all the other versions suck) is still my favorite racing game of all time.

well, EA had better fix up the game, or some people will be very pissed off.

What were/are the issues requiring a Patch?

I don't even have the game so iit doesn't matter to me, but EA just pisses me off more and more. Too many of their games have some major issue that they may or may not fix or they'll just toss aside an aging game to make room for he newer release. At some point in time they must have taken the focus of thhe company from the Brains(Coders, Content developers) and put it directly onto the Bean Counters. It may maximize Profits, but it will eventually kill Sales.
