Looks kind of fun. But what's with the 2nd to last pic? The goalie looks like he covers up the entire goal!

Just hope this is better than that stickball game they tried.

This seems like the kind of game that would make sense to use with Xbox Avatars. The players look scary since they still use the realistic NHL 09 models just with exaggerated features. They should make them more 'cartoony'.
 
Sounds like fun. I'll probably get this - a friend and I love playing NHL 08 together, but sometimes I think a more arcade-style hockey game would be more fun for us.

I hope it is. My favorite hockey game was NHL Hitz Pro for the ps2. It was arcade style Hitz but had full 5 on 5 teams. It was great.

Exactly what I was going to say. This looks awful. Super-deformed needs to be cutesy, this looks scary.

Actually, its more like NHL Open Ice which was originally an arcade game then ported to the Playstation.

Well if its fun, who cares? I have no idea if it is or isn't, but how about we give it a chance before rushing to judge it based on 3 screenshots.
 
Hopefully it's a little more inspired than the god-awful MLB Stickball game that came out on XBLA last year.
