Hi guys. Im new to the whole OC'ing scene. I have a e8400 3.0ghz that I want to overclock, im not using the standard cooling, bought a huge fan for it to keep things cool, I would like to push it to 4.0ghz? My motherboard is a
Gigabyte GA-EG41MF-US2H G41 HDMI DVI VGA High Def Audio Out MATX Motherboard


I tried doing this in the BIOS, but then the pc would restart 2 times in a row then go back to default.. I didnt alter the voltage is that why?
