Suggested price from Intel is $186 I believe. Market could keep the price around $200 for a few quarters.

ok im confused when you got to the wolfdale page that list all of them it say not in stock however if i click the e8400 its page comes up and its says its in stock?

Intel does not set MSRPs. $183 is the price per piece of the tray/OEM E8400 if you purchase 1000 units. Needless to say, retail box versions would cost more. At $209.99, that's a pretty fair price.

209$? that is EXACTLY how much I paid for my E8400 the day it was released... This last year was CRAZY with every piece of hardware being gouged hours after release and taking at least 3 months to go back to "release price"
