Why is it not bannable? Are we not predominantly a hardware site, not a software site? If anything the penalties for stealing hardware ought to be greater.

I wonder what the Anandtech hardware advertisers (Crucial, AMD, Intel, etc) would think about that and what they'd think if several incensed forum posters emailed them about such a policy.....

I guess that could happen, and yes then it would be fraud.

As for the bannable question, you could post in forum issues, but warning is the most I can do. I have rules to follow also.
