Not trying to show off, but surely looking for specs, i really just wanna set it and forget it. Its not a show off kind thing, I am 35 and not really interested in that. I am interested in longevity of my comp though. The information you put down is very helpful and I am reading the forums regarding all OC stuff.
IP35-E is a very user-friendly board. Use stock multiplier. Bump Vcore to about 1.44. Set memory divider to 1:1 with the recommended voltage and 5-5-5-15 timing. Set FSB to yield 3.0GHz core speed. Save BIOS and reboot PC. If you can boot into windows, then go back to the BIOS and bump FSB up by 5MHz. Repeat until you can no longer access windows.
Re-enter the last stable FSB. Now run Orthos Large mode for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on the CPU temp as reported by the Abit EQ software. Limit the maximum temp to 65C. If the temp is too high, then drop Vcore by about 0.02V and FSB by 5MHz. Retest using Orthos. If you're stable under Orthos, then run Memtest86 (test #5) for one hour.
The goal is to use the lowest Vcore and Vdimm and still pass Orthos and Memtest. There's no need to run Orthos for hours. If you encounter stability down the road, then drop FSB by 2 to 3MHz.
BTW, no need to disable C1E and EIST. These features reduce Vcore and CPU speed when the PC is not under full load.
