Is it true that the heatspreader ontop of the core is slightly concave on the E6700, the hsf isn't matting 100% flush? And because of that E6700 is 10C hotter than E6600? I wanted to get 6700 but now I'm starting to wonder.
The IHS on any model of CPU can be concave or have other flaws. It's a manufacturing defect, which does not distinguish between different types of CPU.
