Try it with 8x400 and also 9x378, both using the 1:1 divider.

buckster: true, cpu-z spd at 400 shows 5-5-5-18... maybe we should try that also? i don't know already... ;/

I assume you mean 6400 here but that's the same as what I have.

Don't worry about what CPU tells your memory is rated at. It reads the chip info, but doesn't know what speed Corsair tested and certified them at.

cmdrddredd - can I ask what you rev and serial number is please (its on the side of the memory module - easy to read) ? As from that its possible to determine the manufacturer of the actual RAM chips - yours probably is Inferion or Micron ... mine is PROMOS :(
