I have been fiddling with my new system for just a few days now. Basically e6600/P5B-Deluxe/G.Skill, but the problem comes on my CPU side.
I have just been messing mostly on the FSB side, pushing to a max. of 333x9 (for 3ghz), anything higher and I get the BSOD. I have the Zalman 9700NT hooked up, and my temps at 333 hover around 50C under load.
Should I try the multiplier side of things? It seems like anytime I have tried to lower the multiplier and raise the FSB my results are even worse.
Suggestions, comments? I mean, even at 3.0ghz, this processor blows anything else out of the water, but for some reason I'm just not satisfied with a measely 20% OC. Please help.
EDIT: So far I can run at 333FSB with no voltage increase. I have tried to increase my VCore for higher frequencies, but with no success. I haven't really read up on how much voltage these chips can handle, so I haven't really tried to push it too much above 1.450.
