Is buy.com reputable? I've never looked their way.

lol
yea...they're huge, havn't you seen their commercials on TV?

Great store with lots of stuff.

Buy.com is right up there with Newegg. Great deals and service...and no, I don't work for them. Buy lots of stuff from both places.

thanks, i'll be going for their $30 off with the credit card application. 3% off future purchases is a nice plus as well.

if i could bother someone, how does this compare with an AMD FX-60? thanks ~

well, considering the E6400 is typically on par (at least) with the FX62....

thanks ~ with that in mind, how is it that the FX-60's cost so much more =o\ i haven't kept up with any of the chipsets for the last 6 months

I can vouch for buy.com. I've purchased speakers and a handful of other things from them without problems. It is odd to me that I have seen people at this forum speak badly of buy.com, and resellerratings has a less than stellar appraisal of them as well. But I trust them and would definitely buy a processor from them. All products I have ordered from them thus far have arrived quickly and in mint condition.

I give them

I don't think it's the purchase portion that buy.com has a problem. I've bought from them too. Takes a bit longer then say newegg or some other places, but still ships in a reasonable time (I think Amazon is the worst here sometimes).

It's usually their customer service that i see complaints about. I don't know, my orders have came with no problems. Newegg's Customer service is where Newegg excels. Savae for a few bad apples, their CS is exemplary.

Uh that's not $339 shipped, they're still asking for $6 to ship it.

And ****** do taxes suck.

Well if you click it now, it says free shipping.

And taxes do suck! That's why I try to buy my big ticket items from monarch or someone else not in CA.

are they going to charge my card immediately even though it might not ship for several weeks?

I believe they will just authorize the card for the total sale price, but won't actually charge you until the product ships.

I believe ZZF has the same price. The question is who has it in stock faster?

Got the instock notice from ZZF but by the time I got to their site, price had gone to $399 and they were OOS. 🙁
