haha...im looking constantly. ive got newegg, zzf, monarch, and tankguys (though tankguys is kinda worthless since they are all full of preorders).

any other sites that will have it? more specifically the E6600? 😛

thats what i heard too...i want to get mine ASAP...not just for impatientness (if thats even a word), but our home theater installation depends on it - our htpc being totally built and ready to go.

There are E6600s for auction already as well, but they are already up to 450.

I am willing to bet the majoer retailers arent going to sell any until they can at least one or two lots (1000), newegg wont buy half a lot and sell them for a higher price, they are smarter then that. so you are looking at maybe thursday, maybe (watch me eat my words)


And for AMD prices going down, they are going to need to deplete there stock first, before they get new lots.

So impatience is going to drive those conroes on ebay up like mad!

Im gonna go to bed now and wake up in three hours to check for e6600's then repeat every three hours until they show up or its time for me to wake up for real.

The least newegg could do is show them as "out of stock" and have an option to email when they come in.

P.S. Just ordered a P5W DH deluxe from zzf. Hopefully the soon to be home of an e6600

Yes I see E6600 for $399.95 and E6700 for $639.00.... Posting prices here so we could see if / when / how they will change the price

It looks to me like all the major distributers are expecting their first shipments 8/4. A few may be available before then, but I bet you will pay a hefty gouging fee.

I just hope all the major vendors get a good supply of them. I want some price competition if possible. Also, looking forward to more motherboard reviews.

I haven't upgrade since my P4 1.60A which is overclocked to 2.4ghz. I'd need a totally new motherboard, harddrives, ram, psu, graphics card and whatever else.
