Alright fellas..
Here is my rig:

E6300 L626
P5B-D WiFi
Xms2 Twin2x1024-5400C4 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145539

Seagate 320GB
evga 7800GT
Enermax 465W

Ok the problem i think is with my ram. I can't get Orthos stable over 400FSB 1:1 when doing the blend test.

At 460FSB I did the CPU stress test without errors for 10 hours... so I know my CPU can handle it.

But when i did the blend test, orthos failed in a minute....
I lowered it to 430FSB and same thing

Vcore 1.35
NB was at 1.65
Vdimm was at 2.1 and 2.25, both fail.

Can my memory not handle it? it's running at 5-5-5-15 Stable DDR-800 but nothing more .

IF someone can help me get atleast 440 stable, i'll be happy. Otherwise...
suggestions for around $220 budget.

Thanks in advance guys...

That's not the way that DDR2 works. Just give it 1.9-2.0v, and start raising the timings when overclocking. See how far you can go with 6-6-6-18 timings, for instance.

Well, you've reached the limit on how high your RAM will overclock, then. Which BIOS are you running, by the way?

yeah. i ordered me a set of these after seeing the $100 rebate. these are micron base d9 modules so they should overclock pretty well.

it's strange though that your mem won't do 400 1:1 though.

It will do 400 1:1, but that only gives me about 2800mhz on my e6300. My e6300 can do about 3300 on air at Low voltage...
but that mem is OOS now :(

Thanks for the suggestion. that was my next choice...
Considering ram prices to be as high as they are, i've decided instead to purchase couple of 20.1" Samsung 204B.

I think i'll wait out on the ram... E6300 at 2.8 is plenty fast :)
