DON'T KNOW WHATS UP WITH THE SITE????

sent a email to HDWRB and we shall see how fast they reply.

they replied like in a half hour, great service!!!, and my shippiung address did not exactly match my CC address, apparently it has to be exactly the same, i had "unit E" on one, and "apt E" on the other, and they denied it for that.

ohwell i got it all corrected and reordered, and went threw no problem.

Thanks for the update. If/when you get your product and all is good, you should rate them at Resellerratings.

I've considered buying some stuff for them but I usually "sleep on it" and when I check back, they're sold out. Example being the socket AM2 x2 3800+ retail box for $129. Killer deal any way you look at it (assuming you get product in a reasonable time). Thought about it for a while, then decided "what the heck" and went back only to see it gone. Ah well, didn't need it anyways. Damn hot deals are saving me so much money I'm going broke.

fpo/batch#: L629A310

prod code: BX80557E6300SL9SA

what does this mean???

mine is totally stable 8 hours of orthos at 2.4ghz, and am now at 2.8ghz and am running orthos for another 8 hours, this is all stock volts on everything, and stock heatsink.
will report if stable tomorrow, then go for 3.2ghz next.

i got a second E6300 from here ,it also arrived overnight.

both are running 3.0ghz 24/7 with all stock volts with the stock cooler, temps never go above 53C running orthos overnight.

I just got a E6400 from Monarch when it was onsale for $193.00, and it is running 3.2ghz right now.

these conroes are awesome, beat my Opty 165 at 2.6ghz by alot.

I am looking to upgrade, and I was going to go with a ASUS p5b-dl and a E6400. I haven't decided what RAM to get ( 2 gig 800) My question is everybody seems to be getting the E6300. I want to overclock to the 3.0-3.2 range and no higher. Would it just be cheaper to get the E6300, will that do what I want? Also any ideas for RAM? Looking in the 200 dollar range.

If your going to overclock I would personally go with the E4300 as you can be much more flexible in the multiplier so you dont hit any walls due to limits of the FSB on your motherboard. But to each his own, its always a little bit of luck with processor/motherboard/memory when it comes to overclocking so everyone gets different results on both the E4300 and E6300, I just figure its better luck with the varied multiplier on the E4300.

Peace ? <><

what does virtualization do and when do you take a perf hit for not having it (i.e, 4300 vs 6300)
