man xbox ownz everyone. i feel sorry for people who actually bought ps2 and gc.
According to Carmack, Doom III can be transferred over to the Xbox without any graphical changes. He further claimed that currently the Sony PlayStation2 isn't powerful enough to handle Doom III, without making graphical sacrifices.

I'm proud of owning a GameCube, can't wait for Metroid or Mario. I dunno about Zelda yet though. Xbox looks like the next move for me, if only to have the original Halo(damn thing shoulda been on the PC fist). And about counter stike: Whooptie frickin doo. I've been playing it on the pc for the past 2 years and I don't think anyone should get it for the Xbox. Noway the Xbox controller beats a Keyboard/Mouse setup. On a side note the PS2 didn't really impress me that much.

I see no reason to get PS2.
I'm buying GameCube, though. I'm a big-time follower of many Nintendo games.
My plan is to buy both GC and X-Box.

Nintendo nor Sony had that type of footage to show. Instead they only chose to show and push a couple in development
