E3 vs E6?

These things don't overclock any better than the later week E3's, maybe even worse. The early E3's are the best(pre week 19) generally.

Based on what i've seen, especially in the xtremesytem.org forums, the E6 = teh suck for OCing.

Only a few out of everyone who bought them got decent OCs!

As Doomguy mentioned, the earlier the Venice (& even SD it seems), the better.

I think AMD has been binning the newer ones alot, so our "get a 3200+/3000+ & OC to 2.6 GHz" may not be happening anymore...🙁

I've gotten mine up to 2.75 ghz at 1.65 volts, where as my brother's chip, with the same week, stepping, everything except the batch serial being 13 numbers away would only do 2.61 at 1.67 volts. These babies need voltage unlike the much older chips that would do 2.7 2.8 at 1.4 volts. 🙁

I just ordered an E6 venice, and we'll see how it performs when I get it here on tusday. E6 has some few bugs fixed and they used another type of material to comply with european regulations. Hopefully I can reach what that guy did on xtremesystems. Hacp, the link you gave is an E3 revision. The E6 ends with BW https://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=A64-3000BW

so how did it perform???
